Honda Civic Type-R Over sticker dealer naughty list.

Got a call yesterday from Ben Ledet sales manager of Honda of Slidell, Louisiana. He wanted me to contact him about the Type R. Trouble is I know he sold it two days ago. With 10k ADM added on. Truely stupid.

Check it out anyways keep telling them "call me when you're ready to sell for sticker"

Do you think that the larger dealerships will get more...because my dealer said that he is getting 3...and I thought that was bullshit. Is it possible he will get 3?

One of the dealerships near me in MA either sold their initial release type R or didn't receive a vehicle. They are offering, at a 10k ADM, to have me go in and place an order. The sales person never got back to me about the delivery time frame.

That's good! Most folks are not so lucky. I admire those who stick to their guns and not pay over sticker but unfortunately most of those people won't have a car until the next year's run. If at all.

The CA market is around MSRP + 5K-10K, with plenty around 5K, some even lower. Might as well drive to CA to buy it. The 20K places are probably thinking of it as an auction with a plan to sell to the highest bidder in the first few weeks. I doubt they will keep that price for long before "negotiating" with a "lucky" customer for 10K ADM.
