Wow... non-life threatening injuries. That's some good engineering mixed with some luck (most of it bad... from the circumstances occuring at all.)

I hope the insurance covers replacement seats. If that guy/gal is anything like me... they'll need to replace them from the reaction of seeing a huge chunk of concrete falling in front of them.

He is lucky it fell in front of him, instead of on him. If it fell on him, he would have been crushed. Those overpasses are extremely heavy.
