HONDA CIVIC 2017 LX 2.0L MODS/QUESTIONS

whats up guys-

Im looking to see if it is worth getting either a ktuner tune or a hondata flash for my 2.0L CVT civic LX. I am also looking for other performance mods I can possibly do to my vehicle. There isn't alot of 2.0 love on this site lol but hopefully there is someone out there!!!

I already have:
-20% tint
-blacked out rims
-k&n drop in air filter
-LED headlights

Worth doing any performance mods to a 2.0L CVT?

Yes worth it ..
I have a rv6p downpipe, and a tune from ktuner ..
stock was 158 hp 138 ft-lbs
Now I’m at 175 hp 157 ft-lbs
( engine crank)

i'm thinking to buy myself a civic 2017 (currently owning 2009, tires like https://neotires.com/goodyear-tires) and I was wondering if it's worth at all. also thanks for all the tips i found here.

It’s not released yet for the k20c2.. I have early access because I’m a tester for them rv6p and ktuner ...

Pretty sure rv6p and ktuner know what they are doing ... you were the one saying this k20c2 motor needs more mod support in the other posts ... so you should walk the walk and support the sponsors if they spent money and research for this engine

would you recommend me getting a short ram intake or a cold air intake? im looking at both and trying to research the differences between the two, or which would be best for our 2.0L.

Well apparently the tuner guy said the aem intake made no difference in power when paired with the catless downpipe ... but with the stock downpipe it made only a 2 hp over stock airbox ... so maybe not worth it since the aem cost $270

intakes are only for sound.....and IMO...sound is way cooler
