Hi all,

I have a 10th gen civic with the awful halogen lights. Cant see great even with osram nightbreakers so I want to go HID.

Is it true that the civic needs an H11B bulb? Can't find any except on American websites. Which is fine by me but I'm wondering if the uk version might have the standard H11 socket?

I'm just concerned that if I get the H11A version it will cast a shadow on my beam pattern.

Would also like to know which kit best matches the DRLs and has best performance.

Any advice?

Thanks

I'm running DDM ballasts and Xenon Depot 5000k bulbs.

Started with DDM bulbs. They were better than the Katana led I was running. The XD blow those away. Better beam pattern and range while keeping a good cutoff

I don't know what UK bulb spec is so I can't say for sure if you'll need h11b or not. @stephenmeadows might be able to answer this for you

Stay away from morimoto. Their build quality suck.

I went with a mirimoto H11B 5500K bulb with a 35 Watt ballast, Theyre super bright and offer great visibility at night and in rain.
I concur - I have the same set up and they are great.
