HFP Suspension is listed on collegehillshonda now. Close to $1600. Says it DOESN"T lower it and that its compatible with factory damper system. So does that mean its just springs and an ECU update makes normal more soft and sport more stiff? I'm still confused by all of this stuff.

Hondaprojason said it would lower 1.0 front 1.2 rear but this says no lowering. Not paying $2k for something like that after ship and install. Disappointed.

HFP is typically expensive.. and doesn’t give results like it should for that price range. You can find something better.

I was under the impression that the active suspension was just a solenoid of sorts and it was only open or closed depending on the setting. I'm not sure they could adjust the damping rates in the factory units.

The 8th gen HFP suspension was about 1k and dropped close to 1 inch all around. That’s what I was expecting and hoping. Hondapro Jason even said it would drop that on the 10th. Hoping all the info just isn’t out yet.

Imma wait for an actual review before I make up my mind... I would definitely like a (more noticeably) softer 'normal' and stiffer 'sport', but will wait for a "hands-on" opinion from someone who actually has one installed. This is a bit too expensive for me to risk/experiment by just going ahead and buying one...

And if it's only an ECU tweak (which I kind of doubt, given the price), then maybe there's some way to just hack it...

So in other words nothing haha. Honda sucks at giving info out. Looks to be no lowering. Still curious about the part that achieves the softer normal and stiffer sport.

A paper I got when I ordered my package.

The fact that they showed the image of springs for the Fit but not the Si is suggesting this is nothing but a warranty-friendly ECU upgrade... If that's the case, I can't believe how freakin' much they are asking for it...!

Well. This does it for me. Not buying it. $1600 and without labor and doesn’t even lower the car. Such a waste. IMO

It's official, it comes with preassembled front struts and springs, rear springs, rear shocks, damper control unit, miscellaneous nuts and bolts.
