Hey guys,

I am about to pull the trigger on some new wheels. Looking to try and put the widest Firestone Firehawk Indy 500 tires possible without rubbing or poke for the summer.

Wheel Specs:

Size: 19x8.5
Offset: +45
Weight: 20.5 lbs
P.C.D: 5x114.3

Current Set-Up:
2018 Hatchback Sport Touring on OEM 18" wheels (235/40R18) on stock suspension.

I think I can confidently put 245/35R19. Can anyone confirm?

Any help is appreciated, I am new to the whole tire/wheel scene.

Thanks

That would fit perfectly but you will see a bit of a decrease in ride quality with the 35 profile tires.

I have a 235/35/19 and you can certainly feel a difference but it's still decent.

Thanks for the help. How “bad” will the ride quality get? Will most likely only be running this setup for the summer. Should I just stick to 18’s?

Depends on what you think is "bad". I find it acceptable.

I've driven and rode in very unconformable cars before, I think it should be fine. That being said I'll put in my order for this new set tomorrow. Thanks for your input!

I did too, that's why I find this acceptable :)
I hope it will be still acceptable when the Eibach Pro springs are fitted.
