So another question, anyone knows how long a 8oz R1234yf bottle can last? Assuming dealer charged all bottle and no leaks.
two year ? three years?
I know it depends on usage, but let's say in Texas use for probably 6 months a year, 7 days a week. one hour average in a day.

It should last forever if there is no water in the system. The refrigerant doesn't get old, it's the compressor and some other other parts that may give.

apparently, my AC problem just started after 2.5 years and at 23k miles. the driver's side vents are not producing cold air. I will bring my car to the dealership on monday and see what they will say.

When you get there notice how familiar they are with the issue. My car was done very quickly as most 2016s AC systems are defective and techs know every shortcut by now..
