I'm looking for an LX hatch manual in sonic grey pearl (SGP). Seems like there are only a small handful in the country right now. One dealer I found about 1k miles away is asking for about $20,500 before tax/title/reg., another about 300 miles away is asking the same. I understand how supply and demand works, so I guess if I want one bad enough, that's the current price. Just a little painful that it's about the average prince people have been paying for a Sport CVT, which should cost $1,500+ more. Guess I could wait a couple more months for the '19s to come out but no guarantee they will continue painting SGP cars, which is obviously my preference. Anyone know the future of that color on the hatchbacks? Anyone else in the same predicament end up pulling the trigger anyway?

Hi everyone! I'm about to purchase a sport CVT as my first car, and the break down is like the following. Just wondering if it's an okay/food deal?

Location: BC, Canada
Trim: Sport
Tran: CVT, automatic option comes with HS I believe
Color: White Orchid Pearl
Options: (None at the moment) - What should I ask for that's standard? Would like some help/advice!
Price: $28,500 CAD (there might be +300 not included here for white color option) - includes everything before taxes --> approx. $22,000 USD (1.3CAD:1USD)
Tax: 12%

So OTD Price: ~$31,900 CAD --> approx. $24,600 USD
How do you all feel about this?

Thanks!

I paid 22k USD out the door(Including tax, title and other misc bullcrap) for my 2018 Sport 6sp. I had to drive 3.5 hours but no manual cars were even close to my location, let alone in red.

I had a competing offer from another dealer for $22,127 + tax + DMV but the dealer I bought from made me a really aggressive offer on my trade to close right then so I took it.

Price after trade: $21,615 (2007 Civic Si Sedan with 126,000 miles @ $4,500, I was going to sell it private party for $6k, but thought that was a decent amount for zero work on my end for a 12 year old car)

Destination Charge: Included
Tax: $1,270.22 after a refund check was mailed by a dealer a few weeks later for an overage/////$1,391 (Texas taxes)
Title/Tags: $67
One Year service contract: $150 (refunded)
Keycare: $85

TOTAL OTD: $23,729 ($28,229 if you count the trade)

Paid cash

I didn't notice until I drove off the lot that the tank was about 5/8ths and the predelivery checklist was not complete. I don't know how much to harass them about either of those issues.

A one year service contract on a new car that comes with a three year warranty? I don't get it. Do you mean maintenance contract?

Yeah that sounds like 1 year of service maintenance, oil changes, tire rotations, top off fluids, etc
