I have a 2017 Hatchback Sport Touring with the auto-dimming rear-view mirror. Does anyone know how to remove this mirror? I'd like to replace it with something else.

I’m assuming you have Honda Sensing? The plastic cover removes and then you can remove the mirror by loosening the screw on the mount.

Is there a certain way to remove that plastic cover without breaking any clips or deforming edges?

I used a trim pry tool on the edge. Make sure to remove the small plastic cover insert that’s just above the mirror. I was nervous but mine popped off. It did take a little bit of force. I tried only going barely in to pry so I’m not prying the whole assembly.
