But u disabled 4th why?
3rd and 4th are disabled. Those are the settings in Ktuner help section. I haven't done much research into the boost settings so I left it as is. I've noticed I'm in 5th gear most of the time anyway. Increasing 1st and 2nd will more than likely cause wheel spin and or hop.

If I am understanding correctly; the other tune was a Base Tune - but with different variable settings. Now, you have corrected that and you are good to go.
I had the Dual 21 psi with medium response settings. That was giving me the issues so I tried the stage two 21 psi tune without the ability to change responseness settings. Not as quick hitting power but it's probably better for the car in the long run anyway. It drives so much better. Power is smoother.

I'm betting your tires were simply spinning in first gear. I have experienced this at the dragstrip. Not only did it bounce off the rev limit but I could see bright lights coming from the rear (backfire) and heard it. Lost power, on it again, bounce, lost power and took off slowly. Happened 2x and I knew how to avoid it after that. Never experienced this on the street since I don't floor the CVT from a dead stop, unless I have it in eco-mode....maybe.

Your best bet is boost by gear like the guys mentioned. Once you get that perfect launch, you can't get any better than that on the tires you are using. Better to lose traction than have to much and all the torque transferred to your CVT (IF it is too much torque).

Disabled just means no bbg limit in that gear, so if the tune is the starter 21, it will target 21 psi.

These are what I use.

I think that's the exact setup KTuner shows in their help pages.
KTuner has that setting in the help pages, because they know that it is the optimum setting for the stock turbo (and drivability). It is the more "efficient" set-up, w/o having to push more boost for a very minimal gain and increased heat signature.
Great choice "OCBOOGER"!!

Same as ocbooger.
When I decide to go with an IC, I may attempt the 21.

Saw your power metric thread on the CVT last night. Was looking at getting a DP but you convinced me to go with an IC next. Great info!
