I just pulled my stock mount out, to start Window-Welding it up...has anyone else done this yet? I saw Vit post a pic of one in a thread and said it worked well. There is quite alot of empty space in the mount after looking at it. I just hope it doesnt vibrate much more after its in!

Yup. I just finished this. I used a shore 85 polyurethane and I definitely notice an increase in vibration, but it's very tolerable and much less than I expected. Definitely much less the the temporary steel mount I fabbed up to use while the other cured. Let me know if you have any questions about it.

Window Weld has a shore rating of 55-60 according to the spec sheet.

How is the vibration with the Hasport?

Yeah I'm gonna be driving my beater S13 coupe for a few days to let it dry all the way. I was about to cancel the insurance on it, as I was using it while the Civic was in the body shop for a couple weeks, and remembered I wanted to do this at the last minute lol

I’ve not worked with window weld before. Will it be easy to clean up the end of the bushing one it dries up?

I figured I'd just razor blade it/sand it if necessary. You definitely want gloves for this one, this stuff gets everywhere if you're not careful.

Did mine and purchased a Boomba mount and let it dry for almost 2 full weeks. Selling the boomba mount now for 105 shipped if your interested, I loved the Boomba Mount and was perfectly fine after 1500 miles except for a spot of 750-1200 rpms and it had pretty intense NVH. It improved the wheelhop, since i removed it 2 nights ago and put the stock back in with the window weld I have not gotten on it really to see if the hop came back. But with the window weld I do have the vibration at 750-1200 it's just not as intense as the Boomba mount was. Let me know if yoru interested in buying the Boomba - for me it was worth it to install it and try it out - and i would have kept it but my wife complained and she rides with me alot, it seemed to bother her way worse than me:)

I did. Check the dates on the posts.

However, I now have a different Civic and am back to an unfilled mount that needs to be filled. Ha!

Ah ! Disregard, thats my bad. I actually have a spare stock mount. If you are interesting in buying it , let me know. It'll help with the down time you need to let the mount dry.

Btw, what civic did u get now?
