As an update:

I've had these on my car since June of last year with stock bulbs.

The heat from the stock bulbs has caused both films to obtain dark spots in the center.

3 Months with mine and 3K HIDs, no issues.

I've had mine on since like May of last year.

*edit* I'm going to take them off and get some yellow bulbs.

I have the pre-cut Lamin-X film on my Touring sedan, now granted I have only had them on for a few month a few weeks after having them on I switched to Golden Yellow LED bulbs as well for fear of the heat output caused by halogen bulbs affecting the film and also for the benefit of stronger light intensity output from LED's bulbs without the heat.

No issues love the combo I am running.

Just get 3K HIDs. That's yellow and looks super JDM when combined with the Lamin-X.

So is it common to have issues with the film if you keep the stock halogens? Anyone that has had issues/not had issues, do you keep your fogs on anytime you run your headlights?

I've had them on the stock halogen fogs since December, don't run them all the time, but at least an hour or two a day on back roads for side illumination and always when raining or in fog. No burning or discoloration, I am upgrading to OEM LED fogs next week, just ordered the yellow covers for them so they can be put on before they get installed. My wife's Fit has OEM LED fogs with clear covers, but the car is new, so time will tell. Have used them a couple of years, they really do help prevent broken lenses.

I donā€™t plan on doing a ton of night driving, few times a month on average, for maybe an hour or so each time. I might go with LEDs as well, probably not the oem set though. Not sure which bulbs Iā€™d use, as I want them to look ā€œcoolā€, but also serve their purpose. Some of the LEDs posted in here seem to not be very bright according to reviews.

Decided to go with the OEM LED fogs based on how they perform on my wife's Fit, literally a night-n-day difference, MUCH brighter then the halogen fogs and more width & penetration as well.

OEM arenā€™t crossed off my list of options, just not sure I want to spend that much at the moment.
