Planning on ordering this kit for my 2018 Civic Hatchback Sport 6MT:

https://www.theretrofitsource.com/hid-systems-20/hid-systems-universal/h11-morimoto-elite.html

Would 4500k match the factory DRL LEDs or would I need the 5500k?

Do I need the Morimoto Anti-Flicker Capacitor Link? I already know I need the HD Relay to protect the factor wiring harness incase anything happens.

If you do have pictures of this installed on your car, post them!

Thanks!
5500, no anti flicker

5500k? Looks like it doesn't match the LEDs too well, maybe I should go for the 4500k...

I have 4300k. They make the factory halogen fog lamps look very yellow but the DRL's are still cooler. I would go with 5K if you have the choice. Maybe most HIDs shift about 500 degrees up after about 100 hours.

After some burn in time the 5500 will match the best. probably 60 hrs of usage and it matches. I have 6500 and the 5500 is definitely closer. I d post my pics but work cut off our personal one drive access soooooooo

Look at the second photo. I zip tied it above the radiator.
I must be blind, I only see the two ballast, but not the relay

There's a little junction box (says "do not remove" on the box) forward of the fuse box, about 10 inches down. I used double sided tape to mount my relays there. Havent had any problems yet

Sorry thought you asking about the relay. I don’t have a photo of it but I double side tape it to the same spot as @xRiCeBoYx

Is the HD relay harness necessary for this install?

It's kind of like asking if it is necessary to use a surge protector for running multiple electronics to one outlet. You can probably get away with it but your risking the product
