I tracked the set at both Thunderhill and PIR and it did well, no major complaints but with the aero on our car now we will need to go stiffer springs which will also require me to get a better-suited damper so we will be upgrading to Coils soon. Just a matter now of what to go with.i tracked it at thunderhill, it was spectacular with my helper springs.. very stiff and thats what you want... but the downside is that its too stiff for my day to day driving.. i dont track it so having it that stiff is not that great for me.. other than that.. its quality pieces.. clunks but thats what you have to deal with with sleeve kits.
i strongly advise helper springs.. you can literally pull the spring off if you are 3 wheeling..
you can even remove the spring just but jacking up the car. it comes right off without hesitation
I just installed these on my car and I'm experiencing the same noise!I just installed these on my CTR, and I am experiencing a faint noise in the front. Sounds like a sway bar link not tight type of noise. Everything seems tight, and the only thing I can think of is the black piece at the top of the spring. it makes a similar noise when I move it around with my hand.
Are you experiencing any of this?
I am disappointed with the front height. I really wanted it to match the rear. It is barely any lower than the Eibach Pro Kit which I switched out for.
All you can do is grease the friction surfaces to try and mitigate it. But the Noise will always be there by design. They are race camber plates and have solid sperate bearings for the spring and the strut. Hence the noise.I just installed these on my car and I'm experiencing the same noise!
Please share if you figure out what it was and I will do the same!
You can basically get whatever you want since its a standard Eibach spring. Our kit was 400 square.Out of curiosity... what are the spring rates on these front and rear?
