So I'll be installing the HKS Oil cooler and I ordered the GPP vented grill for the drivers side. I honestly don't trust myself enough to cut the grill without making it look perfect like some of the ones I've seen on the forum. My question is it necessary to cut out as many holes as the HKS oulines in the instructions or are the holes on the GPP vent enough to let in enough air

I just pop out the grill and remove the fog light for track days. Takes like 2 minutes and then you get maximum flow.

regular daily driving you’ll be fine. The car doesn’t even need an oil cooler for the street so their pre cut section will be enough.

you don't need an oil cooler during daily driving or would be going fast/long enough to need one on the streets so i don't see a need to cut more holes.
