Owning the hatch sport touring has been a great experience. Enjoyed all the features and sensors and the luxury it offers from leather seats to heated passenger seats (passengers loved that). However, once I started adding performance mods the hunger for more grew, I always wanted an Si and really thought I'd be fine with the hatch in CVT . However I'd like to announce that I have traded in for a 2018 Si Coupe Lunar Silver. My first 6spd I should mention and surprisingly enough I have not stalled. Feels very nice in the handling and the exhaust actually sounds better than the hatch. I had the 6psi tune on the hatch and the Prl Cobra CAI which I will be transferring both to the SI once I break it in. Will post pictures soon ,but for now any recommendations for small mods? Tips for Breaking in the engine safely? First time I own a coupe also any tips? Just want to say I'm ready to join this side of the forums now

congratulations dude. you definitely made a huge upgrade. the hatches are nice but theyre definitly not made for performance and handling. the si is a totally different animal. and with flashpro it really hauls ass!

Just follow the Honda recommended 600 mile break in. The clutch probably needs it more than anything. Have fun!

Congratulations on the Si!

Before you try to install it, check to see if the non Si PRL intake will work with your car. I believe they are different part numbers

I would second the advice about breaking in the clutch. What I did was a bunch of city and back roads driving.

When you say first 6 speed, do you mean this is your first clutch? If so, remember that while you're breaking the clutch in you want to try and not slip it too much. Good Luck.

Yeah, the MAF housing is different. You can’t just transfer to the new car. You could just buy the MAF housing from PRL. It is $250 but still cheaper than a new Cobra. Chance to go for the Race MAF if you wanted.

Yes first clutch, so far so good. Trying to get familiar with it and trying to not ride the clutch much. I Appreciate the tips.

Civic clutches are probably the easiest to learn on, so soft and precise!

Update:
Thank you to everyone for letting me know about the MAF housing being bigger than the hatch's.
Spoke to PRL and they were able to trade for my hatch MAF housing to the SI's housing. Great customer service hands down, they made the transition smooth with the shipping and handling. Finally took some pictures with all the little to bigger mods I've done so far. Next thing is the Steel clutch line from PRL. Will most likely make a new post asking for help on that before I get to it. For now here are some pictures...
