Garage door feature in ex-l

does the ex-l come with the garage door feature? There’s a button on the other side of the sunroof console but I’m not sure exactly what this does. I’m not currently near my car so I thought I would just ask.

No, the EX-L doesnt come with Homelink. When equipped it is near the front map lights. I added it to my exl. There is a thread on the subject that lists the wiring changes that are needed and how to merge the existing microphone with the new Homelink.

The switch you mention just changes whether the map lights come on when the doors are open.
