For 2017, Canada has only CW and CBP available. For 2018, there may be a third colour; also, the leaked document showing two CTR versions for the USA in 2018 also showed only one version for Canada.

Other differences for 2017:
  • Canada has a lane watch camera
  • Canada has turn signals on the door mirrors
  • Canada has wireless charging; dealer-installed option in the USA
  • Canada has a VTEC TURBO sticker in the middle of the rear hatch
  • Canada has a jack/tire removal tools (and bilingual stickers with the compressor).
  • Canada has a low windshield washer fluid warning in the driver display
  • USA has Pandora
  • USA has TPMS
  • USA has a DoT sticker (USA&Canada both have EPA/CARB stickers)
  • USA maintenance minder has inspect brakes and other stuff at each oil+filter change; Canada has service brakes and the (same) other stuff as a separate maintenance item from oil+filter change.
  • USA has words for various indicators while Canada has symbols. There are different warning indicators/stickers for airbags, A/C refrigerant, steering lock, starting system.USA has USCS measurements by default; SI in Canada, eh?

Anything else? I'll edit this post as required.

Not easily, most likely. The wiring harnesses are typically different between US and Canadian versions and between different trims within the same market. There's likely no connector for the turn signals mirrors in the doors of cars that didn't come with them from the factory. For example, the 2017 Canadian Ridgeline has turn signal mirrors, but no US version has no connector for them.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't lane watch camera going to be replaced by the blind spot sensors in the future? I think the UK FK8 uses blind spot senors instead of a camera.

I'm pretty sure canada version does not have honda sensing, you can tell because it has the simple backup mirror on the windshield.....the UK does have all the sensing along with homelink, powerfold mirrors, auto day/night mirror, auto stop-start..etc..

It would be cool to have pictures of these differences where applicable.

I can confirm the Canadian Type R does not have Honda Sensing or Adaptive Cruise Control.

Canadian Type R has wireless charging.

But wireless charging as an option, or standard? The US has it, but as an accessory.
