Hi everyone! I'm new here (just bought a 2018 Sport) and thought this might be a good way to introduce myself and learn about the community.

Here's my "thought problem"

Someone hands you a brand new stock Civic (not a Type R) and $2000 you can only spend on the car. How do you spend your $2k?

And no I'm not asking this because this scenario is what happened to me. I wish it had though!

Ktuner and a Stage 1 basemap if E85 isn't available or Flexfuel kit if it is... tires if you didn't get a car with summer tires from the factory.

The rest I'd pay a couple payments ahead.

If I *have* to burn the rest assuming no tires (even with tires you may have some $$$ left)... a reusable drop-in filter, as you'd have it pay for itself in about 3 years of cleaning it and a smidge more performance to boot. By now we've spent about 600-1200 depending on if you went flexfuel or not and what tuner you bought (ie Ktuner 2.0 or 1.2).

I'd throw the rest at either a dedicated sub to fill in the audio gap left by Honda using a 8" open air sub on the rear deck and some decent microfiber cloths and detailing concoctions to keep the car looking good. Maybe some fancy heavy duty floor mats. That ought to about burn all the cash up.

Question. Why does everyone seem to be listing a ktuner here but no flashpro? Are there any specific reasons why you would choose on over the other? Or is it just a personal preference?

Drive it bone stock and save it for insurance, gas, and AutoZone mods.
