How/where did you access the plug?

on the third brake light cover, front edge facing forward, pull each corner down, there are 2 clips total, but not the whole unit, just enough to break those loose. They are standard plastic push clips. Then you want to slide the whole assembly backwards toward the rear of the car while keeping it as straight and level as you can manage, there are 2 clips glued to the rear glass which hold onto the rear half of the cover. There has been problems with the glue to these clips giving way with coupes and hanging down when driving - enough for a warranty claim so be careful.

Super easy install. I just followed this vid to take apart the hatch. Rest is plug and play. I tucked the box into that small area where most of the wiring is. Sorry I don’t have any pics!

Thank you Ryan. I received my units today. I did my Pilot tonight since it was only one trim piece to remove. The connectors were different but I was able to modify the flasher unit to work.
