I kept hearing suspension rattle recently. I sent it to the dealer today but they didn't found "anything wrong". then I checked myself and found this. It's the upper joint of the frone sway bar end link, and all filled with grease. This couldn't be normal, right? Any idea on this problem?
I have stock suspension and wheels, 26k miles, 2017 SI.

    depends...grime is normal
you have to yank on it and see if it's loose.

to be honest if they're bad, just get upgraded ones from MOOG (or elsewhere), even if you're under warranty
only takes a few min each side

It's not loose but definitely has compliance, as sway bar is kind of soft. If it is bad, I just want to have them replaced under warranty, and switch to a better aftermarket option the next time it breaks.

well, they DO swivel, so that's not an issue.
I'm talking about 'clacking' when you yank them back/forth against the direction of the bolt

No there isn't any clacking. Anyway the leakage looks quite bad and I'll send it to the dealer again tomorrow. I'll keep you guys updated. Thx!
