Could you please sure where you got the magnets and what epoxy brand you used, I think this is the route I would like to go
Sure the magnets I got were from k&j magnetics. Just a warning these magnets are EXTREMELY strong, they will pinch the crap out of u and u will need something to separate them if they connect and if the attach with a lot of force they can break. So use caution and stay focused when dealing with them. My pinky is still healing from being pinched. Caused a bruise and and open wound.Could you please sure where you got the magnets and what epoxy brand you used, I think this is the route I would like to go
What size washers and bolts did you use? I ordered the mounts from amazon.Got my front plate mounted yesterday, end up buying a plastic mount and some home depot's nut n bolts. Pretty happy with the result.
I am not too sure. I took the mount into home depot and try out what it would fit. What size washers and bolts did you use? I ordered the mounts from amazon.
Okay, just didnt wanna get too small or too big of a washer. thanks though.I am not too sure. I took the mount into home depot and try out what it would fit.
How did you tighten up the bolts? Did you have to take off anything or just squeeze your fingers in?Got my front plate mounted yesterday, end up buying a plastic mount and some home depot's nut n bolts. Pretty happy with the result.
Nice workSpent a few minutes drawing something up the day I picked up the R since I didn't want to go through shapeways and needed something quick.
Back piece slides though the front grill, and has holes for a zip tie to slide and hole so it doesn't fall and become lost.
Back plate from amazon or Canadian tire less then 10$, spaced holes according to specs, but the plate was off by about half a cm; nothing a drill and clippers couldn't fix.

I'll put up the file if anyone wants it.
Looks good, but should have placed it on the other grill instead of blocking the horn.A big +1 for SlyBrackets BozzMounts!
