I thought the insurance was going to be pretty heavy when I picked up the GT500 but oddly enough its not much higher than the MDX but I'm sure some of that has to do with the low mileage I put on it

That scares me as my MDX is already about 25% more than my Civic Si.

I think a good portion of that 25% insurance delta may have to do with the fact the MDX is a newer vehicle (2016) versus the '09 Civic Si and is worth a quit a bit more.

It makes sense. It was quite a jump from the '12 Pilot for what I assumed to be a safer vehicle - but I guess that does't factor as much as the value - and liability to others.

Pretty interesting to see the amount of older guys like myself on the poll after reading so many hater comments online about how this car will only appeal to teenagers and not to the older "more professional" group of guys.

Too funny, Eddie. I'll be 43 in October & have a 13 & 11 year old. I've never been accused of being too mature for my age and I'll just say that I am very popular with my adolescent nephews. For some reason we connect easily. I like to play & don't have a lot of shame. Go figure.

Too funny. A few weeks back at the doctors office they asked me what year one of my step daughters was born & after I said "2000 something", I had to ask her. DOH!
