Hi,

Have any of you tried this? I have a 2016 Civic EX that came with remote start and I am trying to connect an app somehow to it so I can start my car from my phone since I have to park too far away to get the remote to do it. From what I read this is possible but I am skeptical. Thanks

I don't think you can control the OEM remote start system with an aftermarket add-on app.
But anything may be possible with the right amount of $.

You sure can, but you need to mate the Drone with a CAN/bypass interface like a DEI PKALL and program the bypass properly. It needs to be programmed by a dealer with access to DEIs web-based tools.

Fortin EVO may be an option for a DIY bypass but I've never installed them. YMMV.
