Hey guys n' gals I am going to be doing my first modifications to my 17' si coupe over the next couple of months.

Here is what I am going to do being in order of completion
1- PRL Cobra intake (MAF Sensor)
2 - Ktuner V1 or V2
3- Front pipe/down pipe
4 - tires

I was wondering if I could get a definition of importance of a downpipes/frontpipe I know it will help my car breathe better and such but not really sure if there are any gains to be made there. I am doing it as a foundation for my build and I know that it will just support my other modifications in due time.

Are you planning a catted or catless DP? PRL showed gains with both of theirs. Catless will require tuner to disable the O2 sensor CEL.

I vote springs or KTuner first.

Your first mod should be KTuner. More specifically, KTuner with a TSP Stage 1 Tune. Second, I would recommend the PRL Cobra with the Race MAF. Two Step Performance can send you a tune with the Race MAF calibration. After you have those two, start saving for a clutch. You'll need it. From there, you can choose what you want next. FP & DP, Tires, Lowering Springs, etc.
