Been waiting a little over a year for southern california ADM's to die down if not go away completely. Seemed unlikely and I began to grow impatient. Walked into my local Honda dealer and left with a crystal black Type R. At the end of the day time is money and I could have kept waiting or just bite the bullet. I couldn't be happier with my decision. My plans for the car is to daily it with the occasional track weekend. Cant wait to learn more about the car and hope to see some of you at the track this year!! Also wanted to share a few other of the cars that will be sharing space with the type R =]

very nice stable of track cars you have there. I hope you buy your rotors, pads, and tires in bulk :)

Those wheels look very good on the car. How is the offset? Congrats on the new toy.

Had my old 18" oem m3 wheels laying around still so I threw them on the type R today. To my surprise they look pretty good

Wow those wheels do look perfect on there, any idea of the wheel/ tire weight?

Also any affiliation with RCompound? Curious if you'll be doing an vtec club events.

Damn, that is exactly what I was going for since I have them on my m3, but opted for something else...
For those interested, they are the ones off a f80 m3 or m4 without the 19 inch wheel option or zcp, and spec for rear is 18x10 et40 and fronts are 18x9.0 et29. They are forged and are very light.

Thanks! they're 18x9 +29 and 18x10 +40 I have them reverse staggered

Ride quality greatly improved going with the 18's Steering feels a tad heavier but more planted. I have the 18x10 +40 up front with a 265/35 tire and 18x9 +29 245/40 in the rear

the 18x9 is 19 lbs and 18x10 is 20.25 lbs. Fully forged. I only recently discovered Rcompound and started going to them for my tire needs. Great pricing and fast service! I'll probably start tracking the car once it cools down a little. I haven't planned on doing any cooling mods as of now.

Which year of the M3 ? tire spec? any fender roll?
They come on the 2015+ M3/ M4 if you option the 18" wheels. i'm running 265/35 and 245/40. No fender roll, hit a few big dips and didn't notice any rubbing
