Anyone else think the fake carbon fiber trim looks really really cheap?
Also is that the turbo at the beginning of the intake? The FK2 had a different set up.

Was the engine cover in the press photos a part of an optional package or something? Looked so much better than this one with the black plastic...

Also, thanks for the photos buddy!

Good pick up on the engine bay cover! I sure hope that dull black thing is not the final product. The Type R deserves way better than that.

Also agree that the exhaust note is nowhere near what Honda had posted..

To me the sound is between FK2 and FK8 promo sound. I can def hear that "wrooooom" tone over the background. Maybe from the inside the wroom is more pronounced. I love this sound more than the FK2 one.
I hope the car handling/dynamics are at least as outstanding.

So... am I the only one stunned at a CTR in black on video clearly with clear pictures ? Am I missing something?
Right?! It's becoming a real thing.... It's in production form just driving around like "eh whatever"

Not just that but to my knowledge this is one of the first times a black CTR has been shown clearly, I guess everyone really only wants a CW

Honestly yes the championship white is my preferred color but I'll take anything except for blue.
I'm going to try to get red but now seeing it in black I'm really left in confusion. For me it was Red>Black>White> Whatevers left, unless they bring back PY.

Its just that somehow everyone is scared of maintaining a black car.

I would go for a black too, except there's an agreement with the missus to get CW...

Sounds fine. I wasn't expecting the 5 cyl racket we heard in the other video. I want to know what is up with the boring black valve cover?? Looks like its spinning in the incar pic! Almost 5000rpm! Thanks for posting. Hyped me back up!
