Around 110 in a Toyota Matrix and that buddy was shaking a bit haha. These days I'm not as intense, I like to speed up fast, but I usually don't go fast for more than an 1/8 to 1/4 of a mile before I slow down to avoid tickets.. I've gotten enough of those years ago.

A bit of advice- when the engine is spinning rapidly it contributes significantly to the car's stability due to gyroscopic effect. When you let the engine go down to neutral you lose most of this. Crosswind still would've have been scary though.

155mph in my 2018 Mustang GT. I was coming back from New Orleans after New Years this year and it was early in the morning. There was a nice long stretch of highway I-59 in Mississippi after crossing over from Louisiana. There was not a single car on the road and no cops as far as the eye could see so I gunned it from 70mph and was at 155mph very quickly. I took my foot off the go pedal as I saw a curve coming up and didnt know what was around the corner. I dont think I want to ever go that fast again on a public road unless its the Autobahn.

With my stock Civic sedan I can hit 130 mph (210 km/h) on the Autobahn. It feels like it can go much faster but as you all know it's limited due to the CVT.
