was on my way to lunch today and walked past this. Honestly thought it was a de-badged R:

All I see is a Civic with a Type R wing and Red Honda badges. Just personalizing it to their liking!
Agreed. If they did the wheels, badge, and interior.... then it would be a fake CTR. Anyone here old enough to remember the Buick Regal/T-Type models faking GNX/Grand National status?

Maybe dealer installed? I remember seeing a post where a dealer put on red H emblems on.

I wouldn't put it past a dealer in Vacaville to do that at the dealership.

Car doesn't look bad at all though, but I certainly hope they didn't pay too much over parts for the additions.

my only issue with this is the red badging. That is too iconic to be allowed to be sold to just anyone. i think some proof of CTR ownership should be required in order to get red badges. to my knowledge, there are only 2 cars in the long storied history of the company that had the underpinnings to wear this badge, the NSX TR edition and the CTR, period. Wings, wheels, and other chotsky's don't really matter to me.

Same with the Z06. I have seen a couple of people that put Z06 fender badges on C5 FRC's (fixed roof coupes). That nomenclature goes back to the man, Zora Duntoff, and that badge should not be available to anyone that wants one..

You should read this thread, they’re arguing about the red badge also...
