I missed this morning quli...did you watch it?Sky Sports speaks to the only journalist present last month when Robert Kubica returned to F1.
"I can honestly say it's the most thrilling day that I've spent as a journalist watching F1."
"There was a level of quiet expectation going into it, but nobody really knew what would happen with Robert," Rowlinson told Sky F1. "Obviously he prepared, the Renault team had some simulator work with him, but nobody really knew until he got on track."
"I was watching from the garage and after one lap you could sense the feeling throughout the garage of 'oh my god, he's still totally got it'. There was that moment of realization that still, despite the injury, and a very long and tortured rehabilitation process, he was still fully capable of driving a Formula 1 car at proper speed. You could feel it in the garage. From there the whole tone of the day changed from just being about putting Robert in the car to the sense that they are actually evaluating him properly."
"The day before, Renault reserve driver Sergey Sirotkin had lapped a similar E20 (the car with which, in Lotus livery, Kimi Raikkonen won the 2012 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix) here in 1min 14.6s. Kubica pops in a 1min 14.27s at one point during his morning run without apparent effort."

Vettel was already handed a 10 second stop penalty and 3 demerit points on his superlicense. Hamilton was hypocritical, and it all came back to bite him in the ass... It's no big deal really, and we can all move on now.might be about to stream...let me check!
btw, what do you make of this Vettel road rage? I think FIA should have handed down some sort of punishment...doesn't set a good precedent for the younger drivers.
Of course, Vettel is one of the biggest name in the sport, so it's tough. But then again, 1-race suspension will make the championship fight a bit more interesting.Vettel was already handed a 10 second stop penalty and 3 demerit points on his superlicense. yea, he seems to be on auto mode, and was untouched.Great drive by VB today. Stayed cool under big pressure. I think it's time for Mercedes to sign him up to an extension.
Look, the way I see it, Kubica can be better than every driver on the grid, but without a competitive car, it will not matter.Robert Kubica completes further Renault Formula 1 test at France's Paul Ricard track... The 32-year-old completed 90 trouble-free laps, with a Renault spokesman saying that he performed "completely".

Even though I drive a new Type R, Mclaren still have to ditch Honda! Mclaren has proven year after year that they can produce a very good chassis, but their power plant needs to be on par as well. So far, Honda isIt's always been that way, and it doesn't really matter. We can always distinguish man from machine and still determine who is a good pilot, and which is a good car... Picking the right team or just happening to be in the right team at the right time is always a matter of timing and luck, regardless of how good you are and how hard you worked to attain such a level of performance, to be desired and hired by the team of your choice. It can never be the absolute best or worst choice. Life in general is in fact unfolding itself exactly the way it should, so don't worry about it and enjoy the show.
New rumors suggest a possible Ferrari powered McLaren for 2018.

Yeah, if any, it be back to MBZ.I just can't ever see that happening. I really think Honda will be competitive eventually. The "Size Zero" concept was a wasted 2 years.
