Finally bought my KTuner and enjoying the 19psi map with the rev hang disabled. Feels like a different car.
Fuel economy drop is minimal.

I'm still noticing a bit of delay in the way the revs drop and wonder if a etune will improve it further.
Not looking to go all for max power.
Also, what is customary to get done? One tune for a certain PSI or one each for stock, 19 psi, 21 psi and so on?

I don't think so. I think the rest of the 'hang' is due to the dual mass flywheel
Don't know if it applies to what I want but I just learned about the throttle padding quick adjustment, may try to play a bit with this setting.

Unfortunately, I'm afraid you are right. I did the delay valve delete and not sure I like it.
It's nice in the first gear but it only makes you wait more for the heavy flywheel to slow down in the other gears.
I'm a bit pissed because I kind of expected this to happen knowing about the heavy flywheel.
