While driving my 2002 Honda Civic EX, the stereo, and possibly other electronics, i am still trying to watch for it, randomly shut off and then turn back on a couple seconds later. I automatically notice the radio, but by the time i realize it has lost power it is already back on. It almost is like i feel a small jolt or something if the car is not moving (ie at a stop light) and then it does it. Could it possibly be a slipping belt? I also have had some belt squeaking issues. Anyone have any good ideas? I just made sure the power cables from the battery are tight. Thanks!

Yeah, sounds like either the alternator had a hiccup or your battery is running low.

If you're worried about the belt, can't hurt to get it checked out or replaced. It will cause other problems if it ends up breaking or mistiming.
