The specs for the US 2018 hatch Sport MT/CVT are:
180 hp@5500/6000 rpm
177/162 lbft @1900-5000/1700-5500 rpm.
This claims:
188.4 hp @ 5500 rpm (max)
202.5 lbft @ 2700 rpm (max)
I understand this is MT?
The torque seems to remain above 180 ftlb over the range of at least <2400~5400 rpm.
This seems in agreement with the specs. An honest specification would be conservative and reflect what you would certainly get in every copy of the car, over a reasonable range of mileage and climate conditions, on average fuel conforming to specification. So I would certainly expect from a reputable manufacturer the real performance to be likely a bit higher than the specs.
From a less reputable manufacturer I would expect the performance to be "mostly almost as specified at perfect conditions".
Hard to say how much this miracle fuel helped without seeing their results on the less wonderful Honda specified/recommended fuel. I wouldn't expect a large difference.
