I've experienced this with previous hondas ive owned as well.

After starting the car, and letting get to operating temperature, itll fee very responsive and quick for about 15 to 20 minutes. After driving for a while is just doesnt feel peppy, especially after driving for a half hour or longer.

Anyone else notice this?

Not cool. Well....actually it is cool. Literally. That is good for the intercooler but not great for the turbo and engine. Let the car warm up before driving aggressively.

I let it get to operating temperature before driving it hard.
