Does anyone converted their headlights 10th gen SI to Touring/type r headlights

It's way too expensive. People have already done it on here and they say it isn't worth it other than looks. There are aftermarket solutions from DEPO but even they don't perform that well.

Ooh okay so you can’t do it unless you’re a proffessional installer?

Still wonder why the nav and LED lights were standard equipment on Canadian Si's. Compared to the halogens in my fathers LX the visibility seems better, but it's mostly just an appearance thing I find.

You can put LED bulbs in very easily. You won't get the "LED bar" look like the touring model gives, but they are plenty bright. I have LED low beams and fogs, and never have to use my high beams.

The stock LED headlights cost around $1k just for the headlights themselves. That's the expensive part. There are multiple threads on here about LEDs and HIDs and if you want max output, just go HID from the get go. I have done both and will only use HID from now on.

I saw some led headlight housing at ebay but idk if it is oem but it is just cheap, thanks for the info too
