DIY type r badge

I like the red in the type r badge but not the chrome. I wanted red and black so this is what I did. The rear trunk trim piece is held in by push clips and 1 bolt. Didn’t even break one of the taps on the emblem

Nice work. The flat black and red pops. I've seen one with a carbon layover H that looks good but this is quick and cheap and looks great

How was taking off that back panel and doing it the right way ?
I am going to install my type r badges this weekend hopefully

the clips holding it is are deff strong. I took the panel off the inside of the trunk and kind of pushed them out while I lifted the panel off to make it easier

I have a JDM badge but IMO this really looks good. I might go to this route instead. Thanks for sharing.
