What do you use to cap the open throttle body ends to prevent dust for the purposes of later restoring to stock (for various reasons)?

I used 3/8” rubber vacuum caps from auto zone.

Anyone interested in this, just remove the hose from the engine and toss in the trash., loop the hose from the water pipe to the engine. One hose, no elbow and is cleaner.

Exhaust or intake side? Exhaust side you'd probably overload your cooling system, intake side you'd probably increase your IAT.
