Question, did any of you guys run a LOC?

Also I see that there are 4 wires for the rear driver side speaker.. 2 blue and 2 white.
I'm using them for a signal. Did u guys use one of each? Or did u use both together?

Hey @frankie10thgen there were others like @Steven H who originally only used a single rear channel for their signal but found better sound using both rear channels. If your amp accepts line level inputs then an LOC is not necessarily needed but might help dialing in your bass.

I would check the fuses first on the amp, then check LOC is wired correctly, make sure your grounded, is your amp lit blue?

-Fuses are good. I tried with a loc and with out.

-Amp turns on and off no problem.

I went with tapping into the driver side rear speakers. 2 blue for positive and 2 white as negative.

No audi from sub.

I have this sub in my GTI as well and it works in my car. But no luck in the Civic.

Am I missing something??? Ugh

in case anyone is wondering about the polarity of the rear speakers and you are manually wiring without an adaptor:
RL + Blue
RL - White
RR + Yellow
RR - Brown
I didn't use an LOC I tapped into both rear speakers for signal as quoted above

Ok thanks.

So u tapped into both rear speakers? Driver and passenger side?
yes but I didn't run a LOC not sure how the wiring is on that. I just clamped to the metal post on the positive and negative of each speaker

This is odd. The sub works. Tested it in my GTI.

So I went back to the civic.. I have it on DC offset setting for signal. (Which is fine.) but no audio.. did u Tap into both blue wires and both white?
