All and all, if my work is received well and there is actually a legitimate interest in this forum for this, I would consider making more of this. That's all I'll say for now. It was a neat project and a somewhat fun experience. It's definitely what our CTR needed.
I would buy a set.

How much do you guys like the placement? Is it just enough or would some prefer more flared out look (extended more outward)? I was thinking minimalist when I made this, for an OEM matching look that I've seen Honda makes for their regular Civics and Accords.

For the bottom 'hanging' part, it's only about 1" of hang. It's not overly extended like the Rally Armor ones.

Another tornado watch today in my area, so not a good photo shoot day :(

I prefer the minimalist look myself. The bigger ones (like RA) remind me too much of all the STi guys.

+1 for minimalist approach

The Rally Armor guards are too much imo

Just ordered the rally armor universals.
Will be aiming for the OP’s look.

Will post up whatever template I end up using.

My mud flaps have arrived at my US post box, and I'll be picking them up tomorrow.

Today, drew up a quick template and put on a mock-up to test the fitment.
Pretty happy with it, and will install the mud flaps tomorrow.

Finished the fab and install. Overall, probably one of the easiest mods I've done.

These are the universal mud flaps I bought. Only used one to do both fronts.

Here's my template (print out in legal format for 1:1 size):

I'm happy with the result, thanks OP for the inspiration!

Nice.

What are the dimensions of the template? I suspect that most folks don't have means to print on legal size paper at home. Any PDF expert who knows how to print the template on two sheets of letter/A4 paper on 1:1 scale?

if you crop to 11 inches from the bottom to top, that's fine. The mud flap itself is only about 10 and a quarter inches tall.

If you’re thinking minimalist, then you should offer that! Seems like majority of people replying to your post, including myself, are looking for something minimalist.

Since I only used 1 of the 4 Rally Armor flaps, thought I'd make 3 more sets of the fronts to try and re-coup my costs.

Anyone want a set for $10 + cheap shipping?
