I have made precut Chrome Delete kits for all the 10th generation Civics, including the 2dr. These kits can be installed in 15 minutes by a competent installer or 30-45 minutes by a beginner. Watch me install the passenger side of a 2018 Honda Accord in 6 minutes. The youtube link is .

Dude sells these pre-cut vinyl wraps on ebay for 70 bucks. Like the last thread about this, it's cool but pretty overpriced for just vinyl wrap.
Got it. Thanks.

I try to be fair when I post and I understand the nature of running a business. But this price is just way too high. We're only talking about covering the chrome at the top of the windows with vinyl.

I've seen similar kits that cover the front grille for like $7. Just saying.

The material used in this chrome delete kit is the Avery Supreme wrap vinyl. It's the same material we use to wrap Range Rovers and Mercedes Benz's here in California. I'm sure this material is used in the colder, wetter areas of the country like Boston and New York where vinyl wrapping cars is done as well. Avery gives a limited 5 year warranty on cars wrapped in this material so I think it should apply to Chrome wraps as well. The shops here in California charge between $150 and $300 to Chrome Delete the portion of the car that this kit covers. To get it done for $69 is an absolute deal and as far as I know, no one else is providing a precut kit like this. If you buy a square yard of the Avery vinyl, a blade, and masking tape, you'll be spending around $30 and will still have to invest 2-3 hours of labor into it. My video shows that I can reasonably do the whole job in 15 minutes, allowing me to use my blade sparingly, thus saving me the risk of accidentally scratching the paint or cutting the rubber. I'm not a big fan of Plasti dip as it is not very durable and doesn't weather that well. It also doesn't offer that high gloss look that some folks prefer. I think the Avery vinyl is a much better choice. Time will tell if this venture is successful but I have full confidence that it will save people alot of headaches and will provide professional results for a very reasonable price.

Negative that vinyl wrap will be eaten away like any vinyl wrap if you live in the salt belt. It may be good vinyl but it's still vinyl not some miracle materiel, but if someone buys a roll then they can do it again at no extra price. That said yeah the pre cut is probably going to appeal to some people who have never used vinyl before, just stop comparing "but if you get the pros in a shop to do it it's x dollars!" because that's apples to oranges. You are paying mostly for labor not just materiel cost if you have someone else do it.

I hope some of the folks on this forum don't think I'm trying to scam anyone. I'd like to think that I just invented a better mousetrap. After being at this for decades, I can offer a solution to something that is tedious or expensive. Not everyone has the time or the will to embark in this sort of project and I've done it enough times to realize that there are cheaper ways, but it involves more time or easier ways that involves more money. I have already sold enough of these that I am already getting feedback that it is easy to install and produces the end result the buyer was looking for. I am looking forward to when the buyers start documenting their experiences installing this kit on this forum.
