Hey,
As is, the stock shifter for the Type R is great, but shorter throws are always better
This past weekend, I installed the short throw shifter assembly from Boomba. Honestly, what a disappointment. I find 1st and 2nd gears to be sloppy (whereas stock shifter was crisper). The throws don't seem shorter and honestly feel longer (which I know that sounds nuts). I'm not new to these type of upgrades. I've installed short throw shifters on a hellcat and Audi TT, which definitely improved the shifting on both cars.
Sorry, just venting because I dropped nearly $200 and spent hours installing it
Any recommendations for a short shifter that actually works? I hate to disassemble the interior again, but willing to do it.
If Boomba is a sponsor, I wouldn't be surprised if my thread is removed.....
