Disabling alert sound while using the Garmin GPS

Does any know how to disable all the beep sounds when using the Garmin GPS? For examples if there is traffic ahead it keeps suggesting taking different route that saves 1 min or 3 mins and every time this message shows up it keeps beeping and it's annoying. I've look under Settings and Sounds, but couldn't finding anything to do with GPS sounds alert.

Open your map map- once you've got something put into navigation and the route is populated, hit the menu you button.

You'll see in the upper right something like "sound". Tap that and it'll turn off all Audio prompts for the navigation.
