Until I find something else better for cheap.. Seen in the r fourms someone displayed theirs instead of hiding it. Thought it looked tits. Many things could fit under there.
Rear seat bottom removed,Backs lay flat.

I like it. Puts some more weight in the rear, still under 3000 lbs. less room for groceries, but the back seat can hold a lot of bags.

Does it move around at all when youre throwing around the car through turns?

You can actually buy a spare tire kit from Honda Parts network. It includes a foam replacement so the spare fits in your trunk

Damn, I am looking to find a used full-size spare just to bring with me on longer road trips. Tough asking for just one rim though when everyone wants to sell all 4 at once

Dunno if its stable as I just put it there to see. But it still can be fastened down. I must say i think it works. But it really should be trimmed out. The top of the tire is about as high as the latch. If you follow the plane of the rear seat it would hit the tire about at last groove in the tire. .was thinking a full size steely but that would still poke thru the imaginary new trim piece.

That'll be my new spare since I just got a set of aftermarket wheels.

I looked into the spare kit but all I would get that I don't have is the wheel and foam stuff. Plus can't get it at the moment. And l guess I wan a full size. Had/have a 17x6.5 in my Amazon cart at 60 bucks. Trunk space is of little concern to me. Can still fit a thousand dollars of Costco stuff in there.

You better find a good harness to strap that spare. It wouldn't be nice if somebody bumps you from behind and get that flying in the cabin.:drive::bump::banghead:

Yes will need to secure, not fun over speed bumps.
Ordered a 17x6.5 steelie, not as purdy but 1 inch thinner. Tire will be 205 50.
Have a pattern made for the cover. Just need the carpet and what ever I will use for the substrate, and the glue. If it turns out good I'll post a new thread.

Came to 300 plus $ inc shipping from the only place i could find that had it. I still would rather have a full duty tire as a spare for long trips. No did not buy the kit.
Waiting for supplies to see how it turns out, sorry not with the stock si wheel.

It comes with a donut, correct?
"...includes the spare wheel, but the spare tire is not included." So looks like the kit just comes with the metal part but no rubber. Wonder why it has to be separated from the kit
