Congrats on the car! I've yet to see one here in CT in my area. As it is, I'm the only Sport Touring hatchback on the road so far here in Litchfield county.

I spotted one on I-95 new haven being driven by an older gentleman. Black CTR. It was NICE. He wouldn't look over at me as I tried to egg him on a bit even though I have him a Vin Diesel stare as I passed him.

I saw a PMM CTR today in the Southbury area. I saw the red H in the front, but only thought s/he had modded the Si. Then, I saw the wing in the rear view mirror and I gulped air. It was the first in-the-wild CTR I witnessed!

Saw a polished metal one in southbury the other day, I wanted to drive up to them but they were gone by the time I got to the bottom of the exit. I still haven't seen another one in the wild.

Whats the GT3RS used for? Track days??

Yea the GT3RS is basically a track only car. Its registered but that is mainly to drive to the mechanic to get stuff fixed / maintenance during track season. Has straight pipes so its usually the loudest car at a DE day, def can't daily it.

I really love the CTR though - its just so usable day to day and fun to drive too.

That's great, that's the best place to drive that beast. Where do you track it? Pocono? Love the East track. Glen is a lot of fun too!! Always wanted to Lime Rock but never came to fruition. Will get back to the track some day in the future.

I've been to a lot of tracks. WGI, NJMP, Lime Rock, Mosport, Pocono, Pittrace, Palmer, NYST, VIR, Road Atlanta, Road America, Mont Tremblant. I'm a newly minted BMWCCA instructor. Plan to use the Type R for the sound metered tracks like Lime Rock / Mont Tremblant / Palmer. My favorite track is Mosport - its a fast course that requires BIG balls to go fast.
