Covercraft sunshade doesn't fit :(

Don't have a picture at the moment, but the sunshade does not fit. The shape seems to be right, but the black box thingy on the windshield is not center on my 2019 Hatchback. Is everyone else's the same way? Sorry, I don't know what it's called haha. I'll try and take a picture when I get a chance

Yep, I had the same problem. I just stuff it down in the front of the dash. It works great unless your OCD takes over. lol

Nah, yours is the only where it's not centered. Every other one it's centered.

Seriously now, no Civic X Hatch has that “box thingy” centered. And I am quite sure that applies for Sedans also.

I had the same problem on my 19 hatch and returned it. For the short time I did have it it was a pain to store if I had 3 passengers.

Just responding to your question, "Is everyone else's the same way?" Like for some reason Honda chose to modify just your vehicle.

It's likely like that so the rear-view mirror connection misses some electronic components in the black box thingy.

When I bought my ultimate shade there were two options - with sensing and without sensing. Maybe you got a covercraft that was intended for non-sensing models?

I've never seen other ones so I wouldn't know lol. But it doesn't fit unless I fold one of the sides, which then leaves a part of the windshield exposed

I bought mines from Amazon and there wasn't an option for sensing or non sensing. I did buy the one for 2019 models though
