Hi there!

I have some problems with my Clutch on my 1.5 Sport

I have installed the PRL turbo kit (Garret GT2860RS) with Street (catted) downpipe.
I have installed ClutchMasters FX350 + Single Mass flywheel + braided clutch line

The problems appears when the exhaust is hot and it doesn't allow me to change gears. I press the pedal and it doesn't me allow to enter the gear.

Downpipe + Catalytic converter are wrapped with heat wrap

I've removed the Clutch Delay Valve also, and it seems that the problem was solved, but 1 week later, the problem appears again.

I've bled the clutch hydraulic circuit several times and changed the whole fluid (brakes and clutch)

I think there's a design problem on that because the catalytic converter is very close to the clutch slave cylinder (like 1 finger).

Any ideas?

Was everything installed at the same time?

You need to adjust the clutch rod and pedal

No, it wasn't. I first installed clutch + FMIC and then the whole turbo kit.

The pedal have been adjusted.

When the fluid is cold it works fine.
Clutchmaster probs then

Did you have an issue after the clutch or only after the kit went on. Also did you do it yourself or did a shop do it. If a shop did it. I'd do a one over.

Te problem came after the kit installation because the PRL street downpipe for the GT2860RS is closer to the Slave cylinder than the race or the street/race downpipes for stock turbo.

The installation was made by a workshop but I bought all the parts by myself.

With the Stock turbo and Stock downpipe no problems appeared on 1.5-2 months

Honda Civic 10th gen Clutch problems FX350 + PRL Turbo Kit + Street DP 85679E40-5D0F-4075-9EE6-A592F8F772D7

really doubt that would damage your slave.

I would say there is a 0% chance that your problems have anything to do with exhaust heat.

Aftermarket clutches on this platform have been plagued with problems for whatever reason, and I can tell you that it is not uncommon for us to see someone reporting the early failure of an FX350 or FX400. :(

I highly doubt this would effect your clutch, but are you sure you have the correct DP installed?

The PRL big turbo kit comes with a race DP that is specific to the turbo kit that is supposed to be used with it.

Is there another clutch that can be used?

Thanks,

The main concern is that after bleeding the clutch fluid it works fine for almost one week and then because of the heat, it stop working

It’s clutchmasters lol. It should of with heat like any other clutch but doesn’t. As for it not going into gear that I have not heard of while driving. Not going into gear while at idle is clutch rod adjustment

Check for a leak in your slave cylinder. Could of been damaged during the delay valve removal.
