Honda just released CTR press-release information with more specs on the car.

http://hondanews.com/releases/honda-civic-type-r-chassis

2017 Civic Hatchback LX Front / Rear
25.5 x t4.0 / 16.5

2017 Civic Si Sedan Front / Rear
27.0 x t4.5 / 18.0

2017 Civic Type R Front / Rear
29.0 x t5.0 / 20.5

I did some digging on the parts catalog of the CTR, Si, Hatch EX and made a small list:

Honda Civic 10th gen Civic Type R Sway bars on regular Civic? Djl0bJD

Observations for now:
  1. Si Endlinks/D Brackets are identical to the hatch. Most likely will fit hatch.
  2. CTR has all unique part numbers. Unsure what the differences are until someone compares them at the parts dept or spends the money to buy it.

Does it fit?
I have no idea. The only way to tell is to compare or jump the gun and buy it to try.

EDIT:

Yes it does fit!!

Here is a DIY I posted:

The sport HB is supposed to have slightly larger front and rear bars, I just did the Progress rear(20.6mm) and it's really nice.

Press Release says its the same across all the hatches. I bet the sedan has smaller sway bars.

The Part numbers are identical when I checked both sport touring and EX models.

Front Stabilizer Bar:
51300-TGG-A01

Rear Stabilizer Bar:
52300-TGG-A01

Just ordered a Type R rear sway bar and D brackets ... 85$ with tax picked up later this week:headbang: Can't beat that price! Progress @ 172$ street price or the Sirimoto @ 185$ street price.. about 100$ you can use for other mods:nixon:

if the Type-R rear sway is seriously cheaper than the progressive one I'm going to buy it. Can't beat that price for an OEM swaybar thats .1mm smaller than after market.

Curious if this will fit the EX-T Sedan....?

Well isn't the chassis suppose to be the same between the sedan and the hatch? @hawk02 has the progressive swaybar on his hatch sport and if I recall correctly, that bar was made for the coupe and the sedan.

Sure. The si shares the same endlinks and d brackets as the hatch so eseentially the non CTR is very likely to fit an si sway bar. Since the CTR has large dramatic changes, and all the part numbers are different, we won't know until someone tries it. @JDM_DOHC_SiR iust ordered a rear CTR bar so he will find out. Hopefully he reports back!
