Both are Spirit coilovers with either Aslan or Varis specs. Chances they won't release exact valve and spring rates just so they can claim that particular spec. Aslan will likely be tuned more for performance while Varis will likely take it a bit more towards comfort
Thanks. Makes sense. If that's the case, Varis' damping must be pretty damn good for 14k front rate. I'm very curious to see how those rates feels like on the street. I'm wondering what kind of rates Aslan will use. After all, our car is kinda hefty.

On another note, @Kami Speed , do you know the difference between the above Aslan x Spirit VS Varis x Spirit setup?
Both are pricey asf is all I can say lol, the Varis x Spirit coilovers do come with the suspension error cancellation so that’s pretty cool.

Updated info on HKS, Fortune Auto, and KW. I'll add Tein and Ohlins when I get more info from them since they were released at SEMA. I'll also add AST and other JDM brands that have added coilovers. I've really neglected this thread lol

TEIN will be going in production for their FLEX Z line for the CTR as a starting point. No pricing point just yet. I am still working with them on the prototypes on my car for SEMA.

I will be working with them on more advanced coilovers as well, probably a Monosport line and Super Racing.

I don't think they specified the drop, I tried confirming, all I know is that the front has a 20mm drop range and the rear is a 15mm drop range

The KWs are going to probably ride better than the TEINs, I’ve had both on other cars and enjoyed the KWs way more for daily duty.

stupid question. Installing coilover will it throw codes? Any bypass needed?
