It breaks my heart it isn't as raw and simple in design as many previous Type R vehicles, specifically the Integra. I detest the monster sized faux vents in the bumper covers. And, I agree it would be nice to have some sort of special Type R only color like Yellow which I love too.

Wow, is there a way to adjust the exterior color with a color-adjust knob on the dash? Just noticing the plates have the same number, though are slightly different.

I took that as Type-R Touring. The other one without the T being the base model.

Funny, I assumed it stood for "Track".

Only real reason is because Canadian models usually start with the Touring or luxury version as the base, so I assumed the "TYPE-R" would be the luxury / touring one.

I hear ya on that .... The 2015/2016 FK2 CTR was offered in a Brilliant Sporty Blue Metallic. From recently disclosed color codes, it appears that we are getting the run-of-the-mill, Aegean Blue Metallic.

Isn't this the same color blue, just a different name?

Honestly, I read 2nd hand (in a different forum) that it was different color but I researched it further, and it appears to be the same paint code. So yes, you are correct - I think they are the same color. Cheers!

I know what you mean. I saw that render on Instagram and instantly fell in love. Who knows tho, maybe next year...

I think you're right! I've been rattling my brain as to why they'd do a base model with so few differences between it and the touring, but after reading that I remembered we get the slightly stunted Type R for the US, while Europe gets the fully loaded thing with sensing and backup sensors and headlight washers

We'll find out when the 2017MY shows up in system since we know the 2017 is a Touring trim.
