Anyone have opinions on Ambit wheels? I'm looking for something that can pull double duty. So basically a wheel I can take to the track but also use as my winter wheel setup. Well, maybe even triple duty and run as a daily wheel as well.

Really think you should go full forged, either titans or rsr are very competitive in price. You get light weight and durability. Especially since your pulling double duty.

Just installed Rays Gram Lights 57CR Wheels in Gloss Black 18x9.5 + 38 with Michellin Pilot Sport 4S 255 35 18. Lowered on Eibach springs. I am not rubbing, though I've only driven around by myself in the car with no added weight in the rear.

THanks for that.

Was basing it on this:

Compared to your existing wheel, this new wheel will have an inner rim which is 14.7mm further away from the suspension strut. The outer rim will poke out 27.4mm more than before.

I wanted to point out that here are some measured widths at 263/35.

Bolded the widest to narrowest measured, and heaviest to lightest tire.
Sorted by width.
Range from UHP to Extreme.

Manuf - model: tread width, weight
Yokohama - Advan AD08: 10.1, 28 lbs <-- wide, wow!
Federal - 595RS-RR: 9.8, 28.5 lbs
Michelin Pilot Sport - 4S: 9.7, 25 lbs
POTENZA - S-04 Pole Position: 9.7, 29 lbs
Falken -
AZENIS FK510: 9.6, 25 lbs
Kumho - Ecsta V720: 9.5, 28
Continental - ExtremeContactSport: 9.4, 24lbs
General - G-MAX RS: 9.3, 25 lbs
Kumho - Ecsta PS91: 9.3, 26
Kumho - Ecsta PS31: 9.1, 25.3 <-- for those scared about rub, this looks like the narrowest tire

I purposely bought a set of G-MAX knowing that they measure narrow for a 265.
I thought the s-04s wore wide, damn AD08s must be crazy.
Michelin run wide and lighter by 3.5 lbs (damn), that is some magic right there. Falken close behind.
S-04s are heavy (older design).

What is a good offset wheel if I wanted to run a 265/35/18 winter tire? I am thinking 18x9.5 +40

For winter you should run super narrow.
But if you must I’d go with 45 to keep as much tire tucked in and not damage the paint. But that’s me.
